Meet Chamber Ambassador Jessica Gentry: Originally from Cincinnati, Jessica Gentry moved to Colorado in 2013; she found her heart in Conifer. Jessica enjoys the outdoors: hiking, sand volleyball, and playing with her dog Aspen! With over 16 years of experience in the service industry, she found her calling in Real Estate so she could continue to help people when they need it. Jessica is currently part of Keller Williams Foothills Realty and is a Certified Mountain Area Specialist. An ambassador and Chamber member allows her to meet new people, help others and give back to her community. Like the small town she grew up in, in Conifer, Jessica has that strong desire to connect with her fellow neighbors and friends to help grow an active and strong community. You might find Jessica out on the hiking trails; feel free to say Hi!
Meet Chamber Ambassador Danna Johanson: Danna is a seasoned real estate professional with a passion for real estate and nurturing lasting relationships.
From a young age, Danna found joy in accompanying her father, a skilled builder, on various construction projects. This early exposure ignited a love for the craftsmanship of homebuilding and the real estate business.
After starting out in an administrative role for a real estate attorney, Danna was encouraged to pursue a career in real estate. With a husband who was a home builder, the decision felt natural, aligning perfectly with her desire to support his business. Danna embarked on her real estate journey with determination, even braving cold evenings to knock on doors and promote homeownership to renters. Through perseverance and the support of colleagues turned lifelong friends, Danna thrived in the industry, constantly learning and adapting to new challenges. Continued education and adapting to market changes through the years has created a remarkable wisdom. A myriad of experience in appraisal and time with County Planning and Zoning has helped through many complicated real estate transactions.
Throughout her career spanning over 30 years, Danna has remained guided by principles of integrity, respect, and service. Every client transaction is seen as an opportunity to make a meaningful connection, ensuring a win-win outcome for all parties involved. Learning and pursuing different aspects of real estate from homes, land sales and investment properties. Being able to offer options and envisioning possibilities for what her client’s goals are. Beyond every transaction, Danna takes pride in being a trusted friend and resource for her clients, offering support and guidance long after the deal is done. Being the resource to offer construction, remodel and updating options to any type of property.
Today, she continues to serve homeowners in the Foothills and Denver metro area, dedicated to making each transaction as seamless as possible. With a wealth of experience and a heart for service, Danna is more than just a realtor – she’s a cornerstone of her community, enriching lives one home at a time.
Meet Chamber Ambassador Docia Boylen: Docia Boylen is the owner of Handyman Connection serving Conifer and the surrounding area. Under her leadership, the company has earned multiple franchise honors, including the 2024 and 2026 Project Pride Awards, recognizing excellence in craftsmanship and client experience.
A recognized voice in home improvement and entrepreneurship, Docia has been quoted in AARP and The Washington Post for her expertise in the skilled trades and small business leadership.
She is the Co-Founder and President of Women in Construction (WINC) and currently serves as Chair of the Board for Adoption Options. She also serves as Director of Membership for Golden Women in Business and is an active member of Mountain Women in Business.
Docia hosts the 285DIY podcast, where she shares practical home improvement guidance and advocates for professionalism in the trades.
Known affectionately as the “Boss Lady,” Docia leads with integrity, grit, and a deep commitment to strengthening businesses, families, and the mountain community she calls home.
She lives in Pine with her husband Darren and their 13-year-old son, TJ.
As a Conifer Chamber Ambassador, she is passionate about welcoming members, fostering meaningful connections, and championing collaboration that helps businesses and families thrive.
Meet Chamber Ambassador Jacquie Cook: Jacquie Cook is a proud mom to three amazing kids – Christian (15), Jewels (10), and Hunter (4) – and has been married to the love of her life for nearly 14 years this August. She’s the lead baker, event coordinator, and cake decorator at Suz Cookie Jar Rescue, the charming Marshdale bakery she co-runs with her mom. When she’s not perfecting her buttercream roses or planning unforgettable events, Jacquie steps into her role as Executive Assistant for 4D Strategic Designs, where she brings her organizational skills and creative flair to the business world.
Having called Bailey, Colorado home since 1999, Jacquie is a dedicated community supporter, actively involved in the Platte Canyon, Evergreen, and Conifer Chambers of Commerce. She helped plan this year’s awards, serves on the Public Affairs Committee, and is excited to contribute to the scholarship committee with Bootstraps. Nonprofits hold a special place in her heart, and she loves to jump in and support whenever she can.
Outside the bakery and office, Jacquie’s world is a blend of kicks and chapters – you’ll often find her at Taekwondo, training alongside her kids, mom, and brothers (one of whom owns the school), fully embracing the motto, “A family that kicks together sticks together.” She’s also a total bookworm, with a goal to read 46 books this year, and dreams of one day writing her own cookbook.
Whether she’s frosting cakes, planning pop-ups, or rallying for her community, Jacquie brings energy, passion, and a little bit of sugar to everything she does.
Meet Chamber Ambassador Steve Dennis: Steve Dennis moved to Colorado in 2001. He was in the mortgage industry until running his own painting company for 15 years. After 5 years with another siding company he decided to start a new company, Homestead Exteriors Siding and Windows with Paul Dickens. If he isn’t walking around your house taking pictures you will find him skiing, traveling or teaching a lesson on a pickleball court!!

What is a Chamber Ambassador?
Ambassadors are a voluntary position at chamber of commerce and play an essential role in member communication and retention. Each Ambassador is charged with conveying member needs, questions and concerns to Chamber staff. Generally speaking, an ambassador would be expected to encourage member involvement. Different chambers have different guidelines and varying levels of expectations for their ambassadors.
How to utilize current Ambassadors
Whether you’re a member of the chamber or not, Chamber Ambassadors are a great resource. These people tend to be more in-the-know about the community, and can offer a member’s perspective of the chamber. Feel free to ask our current ambassadors anything.
Why be an Ambassador?
Being an ambassador can be a time commitment, but will benefit your business in addition to the chambers. Ambassadors receive direct access to chamber members, getting your foot in the door with a local business. Talking about the chamber is an excellent ice breaker, and the relationship you build is just that – yours. Active Ambassadors generally receive a higher level of word of mouth referrals and direct business from fellow members.
Program Mission
It is the mission of the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Team to promote member commitment and retention by:
- Raising awareness of Chamber activities and benefits
- Informing and involving new Chamber members to promote strong continuing membership
- Encouraging meaningful and beneficial participation in the Chamber's programs
- Serving as a liaison between the Chamber staff and membership
- The Ambassador Program consists of volunteers from the Chamber membership who donate their time to assist the Chamber in various activities.
Who May Participate:
- Any member in good standing
- Must be a member of the chamber for at least 6 months
- There may be multiple members from the same company or organization
- You must complete and submit a written application
Responsibilities:
- Attend monthly Ambassador Meeting - currently meeting the 1st Thursday of each month from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Attend monthly Ribbon Cuttings
- Help with greeting, registration and set up/teardown at monthly Membership Meeting and After Hours Mixers
- Help with Special Events
- Contact new and existing Chamber members by phone or face-to-face visits
