Karla has earned her Master Gardener, Advanced Master Gardener and Wildlife Management certifications from Colorado State University. She has been gardening in Evergreen since 1982, was twice president of the Evergreen Garden Club and her gardens were featured on EGC garden tours twice. She taught gardening/environmental respect to elementary students as a "plant lade" for 10 years and has a Botanical Illustration Certificate from Denver's Botanic Gardens. Her love for both vegetable & Flower gardening is apparent in her thoughtful, articulate and humorous presentations about gardening in the foothills.
