Susan Sharnas

Since 1984, Susan Sharnas has called Colorado home and for 16 years the Conifer area has been her community of choice. She is the proud parent to two fine young men; Chad, an Evergreen High Graduate 1997 and Tyler, a Conifer High Graduate 1999.
Susan is a licensed Colorado broker and member of the Colorado and National Associations of Realtors. Susan formed Homes At New Heights, her own corporation in 2001 www.HomesAtNewHeights.com.
Susan is an active participant and founding member of the Conifair Committee, she chaired the annual event in 2000, 2001 and 2002. She was elected vice president of the Chamber for 2003-04. In 2005, she co-chaired the much revered Fall Wine Tasting with current president, Steve Gallup.
The Mountain Metro Association of Realtors also reaps the benefits of Susan’s professional experience. She joined the group in 1999 and has served on the MLS Committee (2001-02), Social Committee (2003-04) and the Government Affairs Committee (2004-06), serving as chair this term.

Harvey Penland

Harvey Penland and his wife Laura live in the Richmond Hill area. They moved to Conifer 3 1/2 years ago in search of a new home and a new lifestyle that would embrace their love of the outdoors, skiing, golf and horses, and provide a more friendly and approachable environment.
Harvey and Laura are both Realtors with Coldwell Banker focusing on our beautiful foothills areas. Since arriving in Conifer, Harvey has been actively involved in the community including participation on the Conifer Sign Committee, the Jefferson County Horse Council and the Mountain Metro Board of Realtors.

Bob Potrykus and his wife Deborah have lived in the Conifer – Evergreen area for 15 years. Deborah is a teacher at Marshdale Elementary school. They have two children who graduated from Conifer High School, Angela (attending University of Missouri) and son Bobby (attending CSU). Bob is a local attorney has been actively involved in the community with the Stingers Soccer Association, the Big Chili Cook-Off, the Conifer Mountain Music Festival, Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church and is a musician. Michelle Johnston

Michelle grew up in Upstate New York, as well as Maryland, but moved to Colorado because she loved the lifestyle (skiing, hiking, biking and camping). She is married to Scott, an insurance adjuster, and they have two young children, Casey age 5 ½ and Shane age 2 ½. She is the VP of her homeowner’s association.
Michelle has been in the newspaper industry since 1991 when she started out as a District Sales Manager in the circulation department of Capital-Gazette Newspapers in Annapolis, MD. She moved to Colorado in 1996 and began working for the Daily Camera in Boulder. She transferred to the Rocky Mountain News in 1998 to work as a Retail Account Executive. Michelle started as an Account Executive at the Canyon Courier in 2001 and then transferred to the 285 Hustler/High Timber Times office in 2003 to be the Sales Supervisor as well as an Account Executive. Bill Prescott, of Farmer’s Insurance, hopes to have his agency established in Conifer in the near future to better serve the mountain communities in auto, home, life and business insurance. He is currently serving on the Vendors Committee for Conifair and is eager to participate in community affairs. Originally from Colorado, he and his wife Barbara have lived in Arizona, Kansas and North Carolina, and have come all the way back home. Now located in Pine, Bill, his wife Barbara, and their four dogs are enjoying mountain living on their Harleys (with their Rocky Mountain Harley Owners Group), and in their 1985 Jeep CJ-7 fourwheeler. |
